Co-op Staff:
Andrew Jarrett, Executive Coordinator
- Andrew landed his first job as a manager in the non profit sector over 30 years ago and has gone through several job transitions. He led his own consulting business for 10 years before returning to the management ranks of the social sector. He is currently the Executive Coordinator of the Kootenay Boundary Community Services Co-operative.
Eva Hernandez, Operations Coordinator
- Eva comes to the Co-op with a very strong background in event planning and organizational systems. Eva oversees the REACH training activities, subsidy program and helps everyone in the office keep their ducks in a row. When not organizing the Co-op, Eva is a busy mom of three boys and the owner of Function d’Eva Event Design.
Sonia Tavares, Early Years Coordinator
- Sonia brings a strong background and rich experience in the Early Childhood field, including many years as a Resource Teacher working with young children with special needs, working with parents of young children, developing community-based programs, and instructing ECE students. More recently, Sonia has been the Greater Trail Success By 6 Table Coordinator and has been active in the Early Years Council and its activities for the last couple of years.
Cheryl Linkletter, Bookkeeper
- Cheryl began with the Co-op in 2004. Cheryl enjoys attention to detail and takes care of Co-op bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable & receivable and reporting. When not working at the Co-op, Cheryl can be found enjoying the arts and craft side of dramatic performance.
Helen Lutz, Member Services Coordinator
- Following a career in public health, Helen moved into the non profit sector four years ago. She enjoys the new challenges within the Co-op, particularly in her focus areas of member services, communications and training. When not working, you will find Helen enjoying the great outdoors with her family or painting water colors.
Colleen Pickerell, Administrative Assistant
- Four years ago, after working at the West Kootenay Child Care Resource and Referral for fifteen years, Colleen started with the Early Years Programs. Colleen now provides administrative support for the Co-op as well. Colleen enjoys hiking and travelling to warmer climates in the winter.
